Working Conditions
We usually arrive 10-15 minutes before the scheduled start time to set up.
Children must be supervised at all times during the face painting process.
Ideally the guest of honour is painted first, and the other participants are painted consecutively afterwords. This is important to note as your face painting time booked will help you plan when to have other special activities throughout your event i.e Birthday cake or present opening times.
Our Artists are only human, and may occasionally require a brief restroom break, particularly during events of 1.5 - 2 hours.
Closing of a line is required when the artist has a strict time frame to adhere to, and they will calculate 30 minutes before the end of the booking time how many paintings can be done in that time. No participants after the line cut off point will be painted.
All designs may vary slightly from the menu examples as they are painted by hand and are unique to each person.
The artist reserves the right to halt services or vacate the premises in situations involving imminent danger, violent behavior, inappropriate conduct, or illegal activities.
Photography
We will always seek verbal informed consent before taking photographs during an event. Upon approval, Giddy Grins Face Painting may use these images for our website, social media and promotional purposes. The participant's wishes will be respected and they can say no at any time.
